VR Robot Controller

The Challenge: To develop a VR game where the player has to operate a Robot arm to complete some tasks. The player has a limited time to complete the task.

 

The Solution:  The robot arm has 3 sessions with 2 Dof and integrates an inverse kinematic system using Unity Joint API.

 

The result: The coolest VR game for PICO 4 devices.

The video above demonstrates level 1 which the player has to fix the cyber warrior eye. The eye is placed right in front of the robot arm and place the eye in the warrior’s head. The instructions are written on the board on the laboratory’s wall. The counter is on the computer screen. The warrior is protected by a plasma shield that needs to wait for deactivation by the control center to proceed with the task. Watch how it works.
